TAOS Membership Guidelines

**********

Welcome to TAOS.  In an effort to make the expectations clear for membership in the guild, we have created the following guidelines.  If you need any of the points clarified, or have any questions, please ask.

The following are guidelines of some of the expectations of members of TAOS:

  • Members should actively participate in the guild.

  • Members should contribute a minimum of 2500 Monster Points and 250 Battle points each month.  This is an absolute minimum.  Expectations are that you will actively participate and contribute as many as you can. Adjustments can be made for players below level 200.  Most importantly, if you cant meet this, please confer with the guild mistress.

  • Members are expected to use the TAOS guild chat to follow battle strategies during both fest and guild battles.  Lone wolf behavior during battles to maximize individual points will not be tolerated.

  • IN FEST BATTLES: Attack low health targets for the win. Do not suicide. Low health is defined under 2000 (1500 is better).  Do not hit high health targets for points.  Fest battles are about WINS not POINTS.

  • Members should increase their health to 300 or higher.  This should be a priority.  Increasingly health of players has been a deciding factor in festival and guild battles.

  • Members are to respect each other.  Private conflicts (of which we hope there are none) should be resolved privately in a civilized manner.

  • Members are to respect the officers of the guild and the guild mistress, including all requests and directions.  This is of particular importance during guild battles when officers are directing where to attack in the battle.

  • If you are going to be away on holiday or absent for an extended period of time[missing for 2-3 consecutive days ], you should inform us.  Likewise, if you wish to leave the Guild, it is polite to let us know.

  • Members should not summon any Guild Monsters such as Vincent, AlphaVincent or Army of the Apocalypse without consultation with an TAOS Officer or Guild Mistress. A minimum of 24 hour notice is required for any summons.

  • Members should bear in mind that since the onset of Festival Monsters, the failure rate of Monsters within Castle Age has risen significantly.  Therefore I would ask you to think twice BEFORE summoning your own Monster without first having it sanctioned by a TAOS Officer.  Unsanctioned battles cannot be guaranteed to have full TAOS support.

  •  Members are expected to ask questions if they have any.  One of the benefits and joys of participating in a guild is the wealth of experience and information your fellow guild members have.  Make use of that to your benefit.

  • One of the joys of TAOS is that it is an international guild, which does mean on occasions battle and fest times may not suit your individual needs.  Please understand that we do rotate them as is feasible to allow as many members opportunities for participation.

  • GUILD MONSTERS. It is guild policy not to summon guild monsters without consultation with either me or the officers. It also requires 24 hour notice minimum. PLEASE follow these guidelines.
